It's bad, because i know how many shots it takes to bring one down.

But as soon as you're above 40 FPS it dosen't make any diffrence any more (here i mean 40 fps in the most stressed situations )

bahhh.. im at skool.. everything is so big on this monitor i cant see :S 800*600 res on a 15 inch. i dont want yitch 3 i want the other one and no the rifle will never fire faster.. when the game runs slow a lot of frames are skipped so it looks as if the rifle is fired slow

Look, I don't mean to disrespect, but when I change from lock 60 FPS to lock 200 FPS I see a HUUUGE difference on how my AK47 is fireing. And so does everybody else I know. I don't know how you don't. There is no "code hack" or something. When u fire one shot from AK47, that shot what u see is an animation that consist of let's say 5 frames (these numbers are hypotetical I don't know real ones, but this is the way it works). So, if your computer can deliver 50 Frames Per Second, that means that in one second u can fire 50/5=10 shots or 10 times run the shot animation. If you have better computer lets say that can run 250 FPS the the math is 250/5=25 shots per second . I repeat, the numbers r not correct and it is less in reality and nobody has pure 250 FPS lock, it is allways fluctuating between 130-250 or so. If there is any more question I would be happy to explain

hmm i used yitch3 this morning and i have to say it affects my gameplay. I was fed up pwning this morning with 125 fps. And idk how but the weapons kind of hit more lol. I came even first with a sniper lol and in s n d i pwned other team (16-1) lol and samfisher ruined my cleansheet with a cooked nade. So i think it affects. btw Dyon has 300 fps if someone wants to know. His computer is like a mainframe lol with intel core i7 and 6gb ram no wonder.

I'll give you my cfg once I log on to xfire, 'cause I'm at work now

I'm pretty sure that Blaze will let him in He knows that Sensei isn't cheater... and we should always be open for skilled players.

Agreed what I hate in yitch3 is that cod is rlly light lol.

You can change light settings by moding gamma. r_gamma 1.xxx or something like that in console

Okay, i will try this out, but still, here is how this works.

FPS = what you see on the screen is a reflextion of what the computer is doing, every weapon has a command line that tell the computer how many bullet that kan be fired from a weapon in a certin amout of time, like the ak, lets say it fires 1200 shots a min.

And if we take you're example you may only see 1/2 of the shots fired with 60 fps, and you may see them all with a 125 settings, but this dose not mean your weapons fire fast, this only means that the screen refreshes the frame faster, and therefor it will SEEM as if it was fireing as a much faster rate, but it will have no affect at all in gameplay.

Sounds like you all are under some kind of placebo affect, when you don't know why, you feel like it is actually workning.

NONTHELESS! i will try out your config, (since i hypothetacally could run the game in 300 fps with my computer, but my monitor woulnd't keep up) and see if it has any effect just to prove you wrong x)

Look dude, you wont proove me wrong, try surfing on pro player web sites tek-9, esuba etc, the are all buying i7 cpu-s so they can have 250 fps lock. They do this for living m8, I think they know what they r talking about. One other interesting thing when u have firm lock on 250 FPS is that u don't make any sound or very little when u run or jump. Don't take my word for it, go find what better players than me say. Try installing old unreal turnament on your pc and remove FPS cap. when u get to 500 FPS it will seem than you r running and fireing twice the speed than normal.

Let me just ask you this, do you have i7 quad CPU and dd3 ram? 'cause if u dont, thare is no way that you can have 300 fps (that I know). we have tryied with no success. We changed about 20 cfg-s and had 8800GTX, 9800GTX+, Ati 4870 1024MB, 9800 GX2, so we looked for answers and guys at tek-9 said that no matter what cfg or GPU u have the, CPU is bottlenecking the FPS. And as soon as u get quad core, you can have lock 250 FPS or higher even with old 8800gt 512.

No but as i state it is a teori, and teoris tend to be wrong, besides, if i remove the blokade tht prevents too many cod 4 beeing run at the same time, i can open alot before i notice any preformance issues, i run crysis highest and i still ahve enougth power to work with other programs in the background ^^

And i still need your help, can't get that config to bend to my will (manic laugther)

I got it running 1 time, resulting in a way so that everything was the lowest graphics, used the bashandslash profile, and all of my mouse keys was gone xD
